About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to lead the end-to-end analysis process for internal projects at Veeam. As a key member of the Corporate Technology team, you will collaborate with the Web Team and various internal business teams, ensuring they leverage the full value of the existing corporate technological environment. Your scope includes interpreting business needs and issues, translating them into actionable requirements, participating in design, implementation, and testing, and providing post-implementation support.
What You’ll Do
- Support strategic roadmap, maintain development backlog, and establish functional requirements for our development team.
- Improve systems by studying current leading practices and designing modifications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across regions/departments to collect, review, analyze, document, and prioritize business and system requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to define problems and potential solutions, making recommendations for process/performance improvements.
- Translate business needs into understandable functional requirements.
- Actively participate in the implementation of new systems and features.
- Collaborate with multiple development teams to drive cross-platform integrations.
- Participate in project documentation development (e.g., use cases, business process diagrams, requirements storage, test scenarios).
- Ensure product deliverables’ quality, including functional specifications, logical data design, UAT test plans, and completed solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 3+ years of experience working on web-related projects or with web services.
- Ability to create UML, BPMN, and flow diagrams, as well as use cases.
- Experience with APIs, understanding interaction methods between systems, and working with API data in XML and JSON formats.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, especially SCRUM, and participation in Agile projects.
- Familiarity with databases, including creating basic SQL queries.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Solid understanding of web services (REST, SOAP).
- English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams.
Bonus Skills
- Experience developing mockups using tools such as Balsamiq.
- Technical background and basic web development abilities.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, components, and basic understanding of micro-service architecture.
