About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the end-to-end analysis process for Veeam's internal projects. As a key member of the Corporate Technology team, you will collaborate with the Web Team and various internal business units to maximize the value derived from our existing corporate technological environment. Your responsibilities will span interpreting business needs, translating them into actionable requirements, participating in design, implementation, and testing, and providing essential post-implementation support.
What You’ll Do
- Support the strategic roadmap, manage the development backlog, and define functional requirements for our development team.
- Improve systems by researching current leading practices and designing effective modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-regional and cross-departmental teams to gather, review, analyze, document, and prioritize business and system requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and their underlying systems to identify problems and propose viable solutions, making recommendations for process or performance enhancements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, understandable functional requirements.
- Actively participate in the implementation of new systems and features.
- Work with multiple development teams to facilitate cross-platform integrations.
- Contribute to project documentation, including use cases, business process diagrams, requirements storage, and test scenarios.
- Ensure the quality of product deliverables, such as functional specifications, logical data design, UAT test plans, and the completed solution.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 3+ years of experience working on web-related projects or with web services.
- Ability to create UML, BPMN, and flow diagrams, along with developing use cases.
- Experience with APIs, understanding system interaction methods, and working with API data in XML and JSON formats.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and participation in Agile projects.
- Familiarity with databases, including the ability to create basic SQL queries.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Solid understanding of web services (REST, SOAP).
- English proficiency sufficient for effective communication with international teams.
Bonus Skills
- Experience developing mockups using tools like Balsamiq.
- Technical background and basic web development abilities.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, components, and a basic understanding of micro-service architecture.
