Remote Microsoft Office Tutor
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with remote online Microsoft Office tutors. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you will benefit from the flexibility to create your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a significant impact on students’ learning journeys, all from the convenience of your home.
Why Join Our Platform?
- Base contract rates begin at $18/hour, increasing for specialized subjects. Additionally, you will earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student, potentially reaching up to $40/hour.
- Receive payment up to twice per week, ensuring prompt and reliable compensation for your tutoring sessions.
- Set your own hours and tutor as much or as little as you desire.
- Deliver remote tutoring using our specialized Live Learning Platform, eliminating the need for commuting.
- Get matched with students whose learning styles and needs align best with your teaching style and expertise.
- Our AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances your sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features, helping you reduce prep time and focus on effective teaching.
- We manage all logistical aspects; you simply invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we handle the payments.
What We Look For In a Tutor
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office and the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
- Capability to personalize lessons and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Preference is given to candidates with prior tutoring experience, teaching experience, and/or graduate-level education.
