The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with remote online Guitar Tutors. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you will enjoy the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a significant impact on students’ learning journeys, all from the comfort of your home.

- Base contract rates begin at $18/hour, increasing for specialized subjects. Earn incrementally higher pay for repeat sessions with the same student, potentially reaching up to $40/hour.

What We Look For In a Tutor
- Strong communication skills combined with a friendly and engaging teaching style.
- Demonstrated expertise in Guitar and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Capacity to personalize lessons and adapt to diverse learning styles effectively.
- Preference given to candidates with prior tutoring experience, teaching experience, and/or graduate-level education.
