What We Look For In a CPA Tutor
- Advanced Test Mastery: Deep knowledge of CPA Examination sections including Financial Accounting and Reporting, Auditing and Attestation, Regulation covering tax and business law, and Business Environment and Concepts covering economics, corporate governance, and information technology. Ability to explain GAAP, auditing standards, tax code provisions, and cost accounting while preparing candidates for CPA licensure.

- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with CPA examination content blueprints and common challenges such as applying new accounting standards updates, distinguishing audit report modifications, and integrating tax law across individual and business entities. Adapts instruction using Becker, Wiley, or Roger CPA review materials, practice simulations, and diagnostic score analysis to support accounting graduates seeking CPA certification.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
