The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform is seeking a remote Conversational Mandarin Tutor. As a tutor, you set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning journeys—all from home.

Why Join Our Platform?

Enjoy flexibility and competitive pay. Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase as you build rapport with consistent students, reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week. Tutor remotely via our purpose-built Live Learning Platform, with support from AI-powered Tutor Copilot that provides real-time instructional assistance, lesson generation, and engagement features.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Conversational Mandarin with clear concept explanations.
• The ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or graduate-level experience preferred.
