What We Look For In a AP U.S. Government & Politics Tutor
- Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of constitutional foundations, civil liberties and civil rights, American political ideologies and beliefs, political participation, and the interaction among branches of government including Congress, the presidency, the bureaucracy, and the federal judiciary. Adapts instruction using case brief exercises, document analysis, and AP-style practice to support students developing political literacy for the examination and informed citizenship.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
