About the IAM Engineer Role at Vantor
Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence. As an IAM Engineer, you will be part of a mission-driven team that develops, integrates, and sustains a scalable, federated data ecosystem for a DoD customer. This role supports secure authentication and access control across cloud and on-premises environments, enforcing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and role-based access control (RBAC) principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions.
- Enforce Zero Trust and RBAC policies for system security.
- Integrate with Microsoft Entra ID, PKI, and CAC authentication.
- Oversee automation of provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Submit IAM Compliance Reports detailing system configurations and access logs.
Minimum Requirements
Must have an active SECRET clearance and be a U.S. Person. A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. Demonstrated experience in designing and managing IAM frameworks in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, or AWS IAM and knowledge of authentication protocols and DoD security frameworks is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications like CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are desirable.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary is determined by geographic location with ranges provided for Colorado, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington, DC metropolitan area, and California.
