IT Operations Engineer

About the Role

At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. As an IT Operations Engineer, you will ensure employees have the tools and support they need to do their best work, whether remote or in-office. You will join the Corporate Engineering team in San Francisco to deliver a secure, reliable tech experience through tasks like laptop provisioning, SaaS administration, and office AV troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high-quality IT support to both in-office and remote employees.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding logistics, including account provisioning and hardware management.
• Set up, maintain, and ensure technology reliability in the flagship office.
• Administer SaaS tools such as Google Workspace and Okta.
• Manage macOS devices via Jamf and assist with security/compliance configurations.
• Document workflows and improve IT processes for scalability.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent support issues.
• Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for internal processes.

Success Factors

Communicate technical issues in approachable language, provide thoughtful end-user support, and collaborate effectively across teams. Hands-on experience with SaaS tools and identity management, especially using Okta and Jamf, is highly valuable. Adaptability and the willingness to use AI to amplify your skills are important in our fast-paced, high-growth environment.
