About the Role

As an Engineering Manager at Vanta, you will set strategy and lead high-performing teams that deliver value consistently and sustainably. You will develop and grow talented engineers, cultivate a results-driven culture, and lay the foundation for scalable engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant impact by guiding technical strategy and team delivery.
• Build a best-in-class engineering team through coaching and mentoring.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-value products.
• Contribute to foundational processes including onboarding, interview loops, and career frameworks.
• Shape Vanta’s engineering culture with a focus on long-term value.

Success Criteria

• 3+ years of experience in engineering leadership managing teams of 6-8+ engineers.
• Proven decision maker balancing ambiguity, data, speed, and quality.
• Experience guiding product and technical strategy with senior contributors.
• Track record in developing engineering-wide initiatives.
• Openness to using AI responsibly to amplify skills and impact.
