Role Overview: Director, Technical Recruiting

As the Director, Technical Recruiting at Vanta, you will lead hiring across Engineering, Product, Design, and Security globally. You will directly manage a team of technical sourcers, recruiters, and managers, reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition. Your leadership ensures we attract, assess, and hire top technical talent to fuel our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the EPD Recruiting team including sourcers, recruiters, and two managers.
  • Partner with technical leaders, People Business Partners, and C-suite to define and prioritize hiring needs.
  • Develop innovative strategies to meet quarterly hiring goals.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues or bottlenecks in the hiring funnel.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage a focused requisition load, particularly for key EPD leadership roles.

Success Factors

  • 10+ years recruiting experience with 5+ years in management.
  • Strong background in engineering and technical leadership hiring.
  • Experience in both start-up and large-scale environments.
  • Data and metrics driven approach.
