About Account Executive Upmarket West at Vanta

At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. As an Account Executive Upmarket West, you will play a critical role in expanding our footprint in the Enterprise and Mid-Market segments. This high-impact role is focused exclusively on new business sales by closing 5+ six-figure opportunities per quarter.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive net-new business acquisition within Enterprise and Mid-Market segments
  • Close 5+ six-figure opportunities per quarter managing full sales cycles
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting and partner collaboration
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO) with tailored consultative value propositions
  • Collaborate with legal, product, engineering, solution engineers, and GRC specialists
  • Contribute to refining the upmarket playbook and GTM approach
  • Provide accurate forecasts and consistently meet quota targets

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years in a closing Account Executive role with 4+ years selling Upmarket B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to consistently meet/exceed quota and manage complex multi-stakeholder cycles
  • Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline building skills
  • Executive presence to engage C-level buyers and build credibility with IT and security leaders
  • Experience working both directly and via channel partners
  • Customer-first mindset with a highly consultative approach
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
