Overview

The Senior Credit Risk Data Analyst at Vanquis plays a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape that underpins credit risk strategies. This is a 12-month fixed term full time contract and offers a hybrid working pattern with flexibility for work-life balance.

The Role

In this role, as a Senior Credit Risk Data Analyst, you will:

  • Support data architects ensuring Credit Risk data is fit for purpose.
  • Develop reporting systems to monitor financial risks.
  • Deliver management information and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
  • Define scalable data infrastructure for reliable reporting and analytics.
  • Act as a Data Steward delegate for Credit Risk data.
  • Prioritize Data Governance efforts and promote responsibility.
  • Support adoption of next generation tools for analytics efficiency.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across teams.
  • Mentor junior analysts and facilitate knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

We seek candidates with:

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools, ideally Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and SAS for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and agile methodologies.
