Role Overview
The Technical Risk Assurance Analyst at Vanguard will lead security assessments and evaluate controls across applications, networks, and architectures. You will identify vulnerabilities, drive risk reporting, shape security standards, and ensure secure implementations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security assessments and evaluate controls.
- Collaborate with IT leaders and third-party vendors to report risks.
- Define and implement security requirements and standards.
- Provide technical guidance during development & deployment phases.
- Validate security processes and ensure compliance.
- Manage vendor security assessments and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to strategic special projects and emerging security programs.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years in IT security or application development with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferred certifications include ISC² CISSP, GIAC GSEC, GPEN, GWPN, CEH, and CRISC.
