Senior Software Engineer:

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative technology team responsible for developing and enhancing high-volume, mission-critical web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys hands-on software development, solving complex technical challenges, mentoring peers, and delivering scalable solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

This role is fully remote.

Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, RESTful Web APIs, and SQL Server.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Develop scalable, high-performance, multi-tier applications that support business-critical operations and large user volumes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Identify potential performance, scalability, and architectural concerns early in the development process and recommend effective solutions.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and system issues while maintaining high standards for code quality.
Contribute to technical design discussions and help define best practices, coding standards, and application architecture.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Mentor and support fellow software engineers by sharing technical expertise and promoting continuous improvement.
Prioritize multiple development initiatives while consistently delivering high-quality solutions on schedule.

Senior Software Engineer Qualifications:

7+ years of professional software development experience using C# and the .NET platform.
Strong experience developing web applications with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, RESTful Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience building high-volume, multi-tier enterprise applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Experience working within Agile Scrum software development environments.
Proficiency designing, developing, debugging, and supporting enterprise-level software applications.
Experience with ASP.NET MVC is preferred.
Experience with AngularJS or a comparable modern JavaScript framework is preferred.
Familiarity with load balancing technologies and scalable application architectures is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred; advanced technical education or certifications are a plus.
