About the Role
Vancouver Handyman Services is seeking an experienced and skilled Licensed Electrician to join our rapidly growing team. This role is crucial in supporting our expansion by performing and coordinating the installation, repair, and service of electrical and electronic components in residential and light commercial settings. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and quality workmanship, reflected in our over 50% repeat/referral customer base.

Responsibilities
- Perform and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic components.
- Service existing equipment and related AC and DC branch circuits and feeders.
- Determine the general condition of electrical equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Assess the extent of necessary repairs and identify proper materials and quantities for projects.
- Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and present work order descriptions.
Requirements
- Must possess a current Driver's License.
- Must submit to a background check.
- Must have own tools, vehicle, and good references.
- Experience in remodeling or home repair trades is required.
- Independent Contractors must carry liability insurance and workers' compensation.
- Must hold a valid electrician license.
- Must pass a screening process.
- Must have a smartphone and internet access.
- Experience as a residential electrician with a positive attitude is essential.
Please, no Project Managers or those whose experience is primarily New Construction.
