This position at Valtech supports our German-based client, Volkswagen Group (CARIAD), which provides global carmakers with a comprehensive suite of connected vehicle platforms and mobility services. Successful candidates will collaborate in an international environment, including potential short-term assignments in Germany.

You will join the international connected car team, which proudly manages over 25 million vehicles on its platform and delivers more than 50 distinct connected car services, including infotainment, telematics, and V2X/Car2x functionalities. The connected vehicle platform is deployed both on-premises and as a cloud solution on Azure. Role Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the software industry, significant involvement in international projects, and at least 3 years of experience working within a DevOps environment.

As a Product Owner, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full lifecycle of their applications. The team is currently focused on design and development and is expanding its scope to include operational and automation aspects. Your expertise in DevOps will be crucial in contributing to the connected car team's pursuit of excellence.

Mandatory Mindset, Skillset And Experience

As the central link between the customer and the development team, your core responsibilities will include:

• Gathering, analyzing, and refining requirements to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Prioritizing the product backlog to maximize business value.
• Planning and coordinating sprints for timely and goal-oriented delivery.
• Defining acceptance criteria and supporting sprint reviews.
• Owning feature validation to ensure deliverables meet expectations.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain project transparency and align goals. A strong sense of ownership, from design through implementation to operations, is essential. Prior experience in agile teams, utilizing methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, is mandatory. A collaborative mindset is key, emphasizing shared responsibility, workload, and recognition. A genuine interest in the functional domain of the applications and a commitment to building subject matter expertise are expected. Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to thrive in a globally distributed team are required.

• Software development experience.
