Role Overview

The AI Development Consultant will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced AI solutions. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to implement cutting-edge AI capabilities that solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Model Development & Training: Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate AI models; develop custom data pipelines.
  • Prompt Engineering: Create and optimize prompt strategies and develop reusable prompt templates.
  • OpenAI API Platform Expertise: Utilize OpenAI API for chat completions, Assistants, orchestration, and fine-tuning.
  • LLM Development & Optimization: Build and customize large language models; reduce hallucinations and improve context retention.
  • Vector Database Integration: Design and maintain vector database solutions for semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • Collaboration & Consulting: Partner with internal teams and clients to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions and provide expert guidance on AI strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in AI model training using various learning approaches.
  • Advanced prompt engineering skills for LLM optimization.
  • Strong OpenAI API experience including fine-tuning and orchestration workflows.
  • In-depth understanding of LLM architectures such as transformers and embeddings.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C#, and Microsoft .NET, with frameworks like LangChain and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RAG systems.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and secure AI development practices.
  • Experience in deploying AI systems to production at scale.
  • Background in MLOps and continuous model monitoring.
