About the Role
Valmet’s Flow Control Business Line, a leader in mission-critical flow control solutions, is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to strengthen our global supplier quality function. This role is based in either Helsinki or Mumbai and entails working with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier quality compliance and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess potential suppliers for quality systems, capabilities, and compliance.
- Participate in supplier audits and qualification processes.
- Collaborate with sourcing, procurement, engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and report to management.
- Support localization and dual sourcing strategies.
- Communicate quality expectations and feedback to suppliers.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering preferred, with 5 years of manufacturing industry experience. Knowledge of the foundry industry is an advantage along with proficiency in supplier quality processes and tools. Fluency in English is required and willingness to travel is essential.
