About the Role
The IT SOX Risk and Compliance Consultant at Vaco by Highspring will support the development of an internal audit and SOX compliance program for a fast-growing AI research company focused on safe and interpretable AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the buildout of the internal audit and SOX compliance program.
- Lead and contribute to IT SOX-related projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve IT controls.
- Assist in preparing documentation and supporting audit readiness.
- Work through the lens of process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting IT SOX programs in high-growth or large company environments.
- Strong understanding of IT risk, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite; Oracle experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to unstructured environments.
- Background in process improvement and systems implementation.
Compensation & Benefits
