About This Job
The Local Operations Manager for Vacation Homes role requires strong communication and handy-person skills. You will lead a team, perform light maintenance tasks, and help guests and homeowners. This position serves the Stowe, VT market.
- Lead and develop employee team through coaching and mentoring
- Oversee portfolio operations to optimize productivity and quality
- Conduct property inspections and support maintenance tasks
- Manage guest and homeowner concerns through various communications
- Ensure compliance with company standards and budget goals
Essential Job Functions
Key responsibilities include employee coaching, daily operational management, property inspections, handling guest and homeowner escalations, budget support, and recruitment assistance. You will partner with regional and upper management teams while supporting process improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in hotel, hospitality, or vacation rental industries
- 1-2 years in operational support and maintenance roles
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
- Technical skills with laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Reliable personal transportation and flexible availability
Workplace Environment
This role operates in both indoor and outdoor settings including private homes, resorts, offices, and more. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a hybrid work environment.
