About the Subcontracts Administrator Role
The Subcontracts Administrator oversees and administers subcontracts for V2X programs within the CONUS region. This role is responsible for processing all types of subcontracts and purchase orders from initiation to close-out while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, FAR/DFARS, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer subcontracts and purchase orders per established procedures.
- Qualify suppliers, issue RFPs, evaluate proposals, and conduct cost/price analysis.
- Monitor subcontractor performance using the SPPRS and manage performance documentation.
- Negotiate, review, and interpret clauses, amendments, and legal documents.
- Support internal/external audits and coordinate with multiple functional departments.
Qualifications
Requires a BS/BA degree with at least three years of specialized experience in contract/subcontract administration, preferably with DoD and construction subcontracts. Must have knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software. A security clearance or ability to obtain one and US Citizenship are required.
