Responsibilities

What You’ll Do: The Solutions Architect serves as the technical lead to design, develop, and implement mission-critical solutions for the Department of War (DoD), allied defense agencies, and commercial industry partners. This role requires translating complex operational needs into actionable technical strategies.

  • Solution Design & Architecture: Develop scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise-level architectures.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Lead internal teams and interface with customer stakeholders.
  • Proposal & Business Development Support: Support proposal efforts with technical designs and cost-effective solutions.
  • Technology Integration & Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML and cloud-native systems.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, with demonstrated expertise in defense systems and alignment with DoD or federal frameworks. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree and industry certifications such as TOGAF, DoDAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, or PMP; experience with DevSecOps, containerization, and MBSE; security clearance or the ability to obtain one; U.S. Citizenship required.
