Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant
- Maintains accurate and current human resource files, records, and comprehensive documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from both applicants and employees regarding standard company policies, benefits, and hiring procedures.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensures proper record-keeping of employee attendance and leave requests.
- Provides written employment verifications and offers assistance with unemployment claims processes.
- Conducts engaging new hire orientation sessions for incoming employees.
