Position Overview
The Sr. Research Scientist, Center for Alzheimer's leads biomarker development for blood-based diagnostics in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and related neurodegenerative disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assay optimization and validation for tau and alpha-synuclein biomarkers.
- Coordinate with clinical investigators using patient and control samples.
- Supervise and mentor laboratory personnel ensuring protocol adherence.
- Collaborate with bioinformatics and biostatistics teams for data analysis.
- Publish scientific findings and assist in grant writing.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related field with significant experience in biomarker assay development, immunoassays (SIMOA, ELISA), and neurodegenerative disease biology. Experience with Fc-VHH diagnostic tools and supervision of laboratory staff is valued.

Research Experience & Duties
Candidates must have significant research experience with roles involving development, analysis, and supervisory responsibilities in a scientific research project. The role includes drafting publications and contributing to grant proposals.
