Job Summary

The Research Assistant II works under general direction to plan, coordinate, supervise, and participate in assigned research projects. This role involves advanced research assignments in medical and scientific studies. The ideal candidate will have prior lab experience, including mouse handling and proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques.

Job Duties

  • Assist with animal studies and laboratory upkeep.
  • Conduct research under the supervision of senior lab members.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise research projects.
  • Construct and operate laboratory apparatus and equipment.
  • Assemble and analyze research data for reports and publications.
  • Supervise junior research technicians or assistants as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
