Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist, Radiology works under general supervision to produce daily quality assessment and quality assurance reports covering licensure, accreditation, adverse occurrences, and other quality management processes. This role involves collecting, maintaining, and organizing data to document the status and functions of quality programs.

Experience and Education

The role requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent in a health science discipline (Bachelor's preferred), along with 3 years of clinical experience and 2 years in quality assurance, infection control, or risk management.

Job Duties

  • Assist in developing, organizing, and evaluating quality management program goals and objectives.
  • Identify, investigate, document, and report adverse occurrences alongside supervisors.
  • Submit data trends and outcome assessments and assist in measure development.
  • Organize data gathering and prepare detailed reports.
  • Handle sensitive medical and social information confidentially.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
