Overview
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215. UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to plan, coordinate, perform, and supervise professional level medical or scientific research. The role is suited for individuals with a recently awarded Ph.D., MD, or equivalent degree and up to six years of postdoctoral research experience.
Salary
NIH Postdoctoral Pay Scale based on total years of postdoctoral experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct research projects in medical/scientific fields.
- Assist in selection and supervision of research personnel.
- Design experimental protocols and compile research data.
- Develop new techniques based on data analysis.
- Prepare and contribute to research papers and reports.
- Instruct technicians, graduate students, and other lab personnel.
- Participate in the Postdoctoral Certificate Training Program.
