Introduction
We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team at USU Solutions. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a US market launch for our new Knowledge Management Solution, a revolutionary product transforming how enterprises manage Knowledge with AI.
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Marketing to identify, engage, and convert target prospects into discovery calls and product demonstrations. You’ll also participate in a structured sales training program tailored to USU’s offerings, developing deep product knowledge and sharpening your sales skills in the hot B2B SaaS topics of Knowledge Management and AI.
This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about tech, has a builder mentality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to accelerate their career in software sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads through outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) and follow up on inbound leads from Marketing.
- Drive initial engagement and schedule discovery meetings and demos for the sales team.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers to strategically cover assigned territories and move prospects into the sales funnel.
- Leverage tools like HubSpot, 6Sense, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting platforms to manage outreach.
- Participate in USU’s ongoing sales training and coaching programs (e.g., Sandler methodology).
- Maintain accurate records of activities and progress in our CRM system (HubSpot, and soon to be Salesforce).
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs for meetings booked and qualified opportunities created.

Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a similar outbound sales role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
- Familiarity with IT operations, systems management, or enterprise software is a plus.
- Experience using HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and modern sales tools.
- Understanding of SaaS sales is a bonus.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently while staying aligned with broader team goals.
- Hunger to grow: This role is a steppingstone, not a destination.
- Previous exposure to international/multicultural work environments is a plus.
