Role Description

As a Lead I - Enterprise Solutions - SAP MDG Consultant at UST, you will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MDG solutions for master data objects including Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, and Business Partner. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define master data governance strategies, policies, and workflows, while ensuring data compliance with GDPR and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP MDG design, configuration, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define governance strategies and workflows.
  • Manage data modeling, replication, consolidation, and harmonization.
  • Integrate SAP MDG with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other applications.
  • Develop and optimize data quality, validations, and business rules.
  • Provide expertise in UI configurations such as Fiori and Web Dynpro.
  • Oversee testing phases including unit, integration, and UAT.
  • Deliver end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Guide junior team members and coordinate cross-workstream activities.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

5–8+ years of overall SAP experience, with 3–5 years in SAP MDG implementations. Must have hands-on experience with end-to-end SAP MDG projects, strong knowledge of master data domains, expertise in MDG configuration, workflow, BRF+, Fiori/UI5, and data modeling. Experience in data migration, cleansing, and data quality management tools is required. Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, and SAP Data Services is essential.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SAP BTP and MDG on BTP. Experience with broader data governance frameworks is an advantage.
