Big Data Developer

UST is searching for a Sr. Data Engineer who will gather large and complex data sets to meet business, functional, and non-functional requirements. As a Big Data Developer at UST, you will create and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures, design process improvements, and develop analytics tools that provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize data pipelines and architectures.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements.
  • Develop analytics tools for actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including executives, product, and data consumers.
  • Support complex data challenges using SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Degree in computer science, statistics, information systems, or related field.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud, as well as Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Proficient in object oriented languages such as Python, Scala, C++, Java, and Go.
