General Description
The Retirement Education Specialist is responsible for scheduling and conducting employee presentations for clients in order to increase participation and utilization of retirement programs. This role involves preparing plan-specific presentations and tracking the success of each meeting through objectives such as new enrollments, increased deferrals, and changes in investment allocations. The specialist will typically hold meetings at 2 to 4 client locations per week and is expected to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with account managers to schedule client meetings.
- Prepare and deliver retirement education presentations and handouts.
- Track and report meeting outcomes and follow-up actions.
- Update education materials based on feedback and experience.
- Act as liaison between Investment Advisory Services and DC Practice for quarterly review processes.
- Coordinate investment data and ensure availability of accurate employee packets.
- Submit timely expense reports for travel reimbursements.
- Complete special projects as requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Strong computer skills in Windows environment including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to creatively problem-solve and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Personable, credible, and team-oriented.

Compensation
Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 plus potential compensation incentives.
