Role Details

The Technical Support Agent - Night position at US Signal is based onsite in Eden Prairie, MN. This night shift role operates Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and create trouble tickets using proprietary software.
  • Gather and document detailed customer issue information.
  • Work on troubleshooting Ethernet, IP, and network issues with Cisco and Adtran devices.
  • Execute remote hands and on-site escorts in the data center.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues.
  • Perform data center walkthroughs and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Handle special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Technical training in IP, networking, routing, and telecommunications.
  • B.S. in Telecom, Computer Science/Information Systems or Networking a plus.
  • CCNA or equivalent Cisco certification preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, and basic network tools (ping, trace route, nslookup).
