About the Role

The Accounting Operations Manager at US Gold Bureau will lead the accounting team, manage daily accounting activities, and drive operational efficiencies through technology and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure timely month-end close and collaborate with staff and management.
  • Review and optimize accounting processes and drive automation opportunities.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and support annual audits and tax filings.
  • Oversee multi-company consolidations, inventory, cost, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Direct external financial and anti-money laundering audits and procedural improvements.
  • Manage cash, working capital, fraud prevention, and customer credit management.
  • Establish financial management policies and internal controls in compliance with GAAP.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3+ years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • CPA, NetSuite, and Paylocity experience preferred.
