About the Night Warehouse Selector Role
Join US Foods' warehouse team as a Night Warehouse Selector. In this role, you will safely and accurately select customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and operate equipment to help meet weekly productivity standards. Your work ensures damage-free, accurate orders while maintaining a safe environment.
Main Ingredients of the Job
- Select customer orders safely and accurately.
- Build and wrap pallets according to standards.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric pallet jack.
- Move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
- Ensure products are damage free and correctly validated.
- Deliver products to proper dock areas and shrink wrap orders.
- Team up to clear aisles and return equipment.
Physical Requirements
The role requires working in multi-temperature environments (-5°F to over 100°F) and the ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly, moving over 1,000 cases per shift.
What You Bring to the Table
- Strong English reading and communication skills.
- Able to work 8+ hour night shifts (Sunday – Thursday, occasional weekends/holidays).
- Recent experience in high physical activity preferred.
- Warehouse order selecting experience preferred.
- Experience operating motorized pallet jacks beneficial.
