About the Role

The Business Banking Sales Manager at U.S. Bank is responsible for sales and service operations for business banking clients in an assigned market. Reporting to the Business Banking Market Leader, the role drives growth in the business banking segment for companies with annual revenue between $2.5MM and $25MM. The position involves leading a business banking sales team to execute the One Bank strategy and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to sustain profitability and growth.
  • Manage relationship management and business development efforts.
  • Oversee risk control, credit analysis, and underwriting processes.
  • Foster a customer-obsessed team culture.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Eight or more years of business banking or relevant experience.
  • Three or more years of management/leadership experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of banking products, services, operations and market trends.
  • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in credit analysis practices and underwriting procedures.
  • Strong management, leadership, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
