Summary
This Food and Beverage Attendant Snack Bar position is available in the Business Recreation Division at Fort Drum, New York and may fill other vacancies within the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR). FMWR supports soldier readiness and well-being of soldiers and families through various services including Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services.
Duties
The role includes preparing a limited menu of short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, and more. The attendant is responsible for:
- Cleaning tables, work surfaces, and other areas.
- Coordinating food and beverage needs for special events.
- Serving as a cashier and handling cash or charge transactions.
- Completing cash reports at the end of shifts.
- Ordering food items, condiments, and necessary supplies.
Requirements & Conditions
The position requires physical effort with frequent lifting (up to 40 pounds, occasionally 45 pounds) and extended periods of standing. Safety standards and sanitization training (initial and annual refreshers) are mandatory. Applicants must meet Federal eligibility requirements including background check, employment verification, and necessary documentation (e.g., Direct Deposit, Social Security Card).
Additional Information
