Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager will plan and direct results-oriented strategies, leveraging USI’s data tracking performance systems. This role drives recommendations from an equity lens, ensures family stability, and fosters strong relationships with clients and community partners. The position is funded by local, state, and federal grant funds.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and engage high-impact partners to meet program goals.
- Lead and support sub-contractors and partners in program implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key organizations and service providers.
- Manage special projects and collaborate on housing stability initiatives.
- Develop and implement neighborhood revitalization and Annual Plans.
- Track, report, and evaluate outcomes using the LEARN Performance Management System.
- Facilitate community building, leadership training and capacity-building activities.
- Support sustainability planning, fundraising, and grant proposal development.
- Manage project contracts, budgets, and present reports to stakeholders.
- Provide resources for financial management, literacy seminars, and access to capital.
- Occasionally work nights, weekends, and travel as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years experience in nonprofit/human services project management.
- Strong communication skills with persuasive writing ability.
- Proficiency in data analysis and MS Office Suite (Advanced MS Excel).
- Ability to facilitate group processes and empower team members.
- Experience managing budgets and project contracts.
- Culturally sensitive with strong organization and time management skills.
