About the Team
The Brand & Content team at Urban Company transforms business priorities into culturally resonant and commercially impactful work. The team handles everything from positioning new-to-market categories to refreshing legacy categories, ensuring UC remains both culturally relevant and commercially effective.
About the Role
The Senior Manager - Brand & Content will lead two key mandates:
- Brand Charter: Drive UC’s cultural agenda on mental load and dignity of labour by transforming consumer insights into compelling narratives and consumer journeys.
- Creative Effectiveness: Bridge brand storytelling with performance marketing, ensuring consistent, consumer-rooted messaging and optimized campaign results.
The role demands a balance between big-picture brand strategy and hands-on execution while collaborating cross-functionally and reporting to the Sr. Director, Brand & Communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Charter: Develop and translate cultural insights into sharp positioning and storytelling.
- Build messaging frameworks that drive consumer trust and category consideration.
- Partner with creative agencies and internal teams to deliver authentic campaigns.
- Creative Effectiveness: Align top-of-funnel brand insights with bottom-of-funnel performance assets.
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams for message optimization.
- Create structured frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks for scalable messaging.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8 years of experience in brand/consumer marketing and creative strategy.
- Strong grounding in consumer insighting and creative platform development.
- Ability to balance creative judgment and analytical rigor.
- Understanding of creators, cultural trends, and platform dynamics.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
