Role Overview: Junior Security Analyst
As a Junior Security Analyst within the MDR team, you will assist in fine-tuning detection and response mechanisms and conduct proactive reviews to identify risks and exposed attack surfaces for customers. This role is a great opportunity to grow your expertise in cloud security while collaborating with analysts, researchers, and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in refining detection and response mechanisms.
- Conduct proactive customer environment reviews to identify risks.
- Lead in-depth security investigations and document outcomes.
- Collaborate with Security Analysts, Research, and Backend teams.
- Handle complex incidents escalated from Tier 1/2 teams.
- Participate in customer meetings and translate findings into recommendations.
- Stay updated with emerging threats and best practices in cloud security.
- Contribute to AI-driven detection model development.
Requirements
- 1+ year of cybersecurity experience, preferably in cloud or container environments.
- Knowledge in detection engineering, incident response, or threat analysis.
- Familiarity with Linux, networking fundamentals, and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Security is an advantage.
