Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Clinical Leader provides operations based support to the nursing unit and exemplifies the Upstate mission, vision, and values acting in accordance with Upstate policies and procedures. This role offers consistent day-to-day leadership and clinical expertise on the unit, driving customer service, quality, and an exceptional Patient Experience. The Clinical Leader actively participates in the Clinical Advancement Program and is a key member of the unit leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a registered nurse in New York State.
- Two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience in an acute care specialty area.
Work Schedule
Days & Evenings with alternating weekends, including 8 & 12 hour shifts and rotating holidays.
