The Impact You'll Make
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will lead the development of strategic account plans to retain and grow partnerships with major brands in the fuel and c-store industry. You will gain detailed product knowledge, coordinate with internal teams, strengthen client relationships through reporting and service, and ensure clients derive exceptional value from the Upside platform.
- Manage client relationships from onboarding to long-term success.
- Improve account retention with platform education and data insights.
- Identify and close expansion opportunities with enterprise clients.
- Lead monthly reviews and create performance reports and case studies.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, marketing, and operations teams.
Competencies You Have
- 7+ years of client-facing experience with 4+ in enterprise tech or retail fuels.
- Bachelor's degree and strong public-speaking skills, both formal and casual.
- Proven record of exceeding goals with project management and client communication abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Gong.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is flexible in location; however, candidates based in the Washington, D.C., Austin, Chicago, or NYC metropolitan regions must attend the office on a hybrid basis.
Compensation & Benefits
- U.S. base salary range: $159,000 - $175,000 plus commissions, equity, and benefits.
