Job Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Programming Analyst
As a Senior Systems Programming Analyst at UPS, you will be instrumental in leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure DevOps to drive our systems programming and automation initiatives. Your role will involve a blend of technical expertise and collaborative communication to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Possess knowledge of Azure DevOps and a broad range of general DevOps toolsets.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders on status updates, concerns, risks, and issues.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum concepts is crucial for our development methodologies.
- Solid working knowledge of GitOps concepts, CI/CD pipeline design, and tools including Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jfrog, and SonarQube.
- Engage in Azure DevOps administration, ensuring optimal performance and configuration.
- Respond promptly to platform performance and availability issues, taking corrective actions.
- Open and follow up on tickets with Vendor product owners to resolve complex problems.
- Provide general support to application teams for all supported DevOps tools.
- Troubleshoot Azure DevOps issues and problems related to DevOps toolsets and deployment capabilities.
- Manage the general backlog of support tickets, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently.
- Oversee and support Artifact Management systems, specifically Jfrog and SonarQube.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science or a related field - Preferred.
- Experience managing projects is a significant advantage.
