About the Role

The Seasonal Driver Helper position at UPS in Kitchener, Ontario supports UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups. This job involves physical work in a fast-paced environment with continual lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages.

Responsibilities

  • Meet UPS driver at the local meet point
  • Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently
  • Learn and execute UPS package handling/delivery methods

Requirements

  • Work 3 to 5 hours daily with flexible start and finish times
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proper uniform: company vest, black pants, dark brown/black boots
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Walking for package delivery

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay rate: $18.00/hr; up to 25 hours per week. Weekly pay, paid training, local work areas, immediate access to the UPS Employee Discount program, and opportunities for advancement within a Fortune 50 company. This is a unionized role with monthly union deductions.
