Overview
Explore your next opportunity at a Fortune Global 500 organization. Join our Sydney team as a full-time Dispatch Coordinator. In this role, you will process outbound orders, prepare freight for transport, and create daily schedules for drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and dispatch freight.
- Stack and wrap pallets and perform other warehouse duties.
- Create air and road consignment notes using both computer and manual systems.
- Lodge and collect freight at air and sea terminals.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and complete deliveries on occasion.
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes per customer needs.
- Prepare daily work schedules and notify drivers of road hazards.
- Monitor daily driver logs for errors, violations, working hours, and equipment availability.
- Process export and import shipments.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years of warehousing experience.
- Customer service experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
- A certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution and/or experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Experience using dispatch software is highly desirable.
