Business Development Manager Cold Chain Ground

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and qualify leads through your own outreach and collaboration with European and global sales partners
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients using Salesforce and other CRM tools
  • Drive business development initiatives focused on Cold Chain Ground and Managed Transportation services
  • Deliver compelling commercial proposals in collaboration with our tender management team
  • Shape sales strategies, action plans, and market development roadmaps
  • Act as a subject matter expert on temperature-controlled transport solutions and GDP compliance

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or related field)
  • 6–8 years of experience in the logistics industry, ideally across multiple roles
  • Strong understanding of pharma logistics, with emphasis on Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
  • Deep knowledge of international transportation and temperature-controlled logistics
  • Proven track record in sales and new business acquisition
  • Fluent in English and German (spoken and written); additional languages a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to support product and service development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong financial acumen and broad commercial awareness
  • Flexible and self-motivated with a results-driven approach
