Brokerage Process Support Specialist at UPS

UPS is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Brokerage Process Support Specialist to join their team, playing a crucial role in evaluating and improving business processes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Brokerage Process Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Process Support & Analysis: Assisting in evaluating current business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Gathering, organizing, and validating data for process mapping, workflow redesign, and project analysis. Supporting the BPI Supervisor in building “as‑is” and “to‑be” process maps.
- Technology & System Implementation: Assisting with system testing, validation, and configuration tasks, including CargoWise and other technology tools. Participating in implementation activities such as UAT testing, system walkthroughs, documentation updates, and user feedback tracking. Supporting automation initiatives by validating logic, preparing datasets, and assisting with tool rollout.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Building and maintaining Excel reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools with a high degree of accuracy. Performing data cleaning, reconciliation, and trend analysis to support improvement initiatives. Providing daily/weekly reporting updates as assigned.
- Documentation & Training Support: Drafting clear and user-friendly SOPs, process maps, job aids, training materials, and reference documentation. Supporting change management activities, including communication drafts and training coordination. Assisting with updating project trackers, documentation repositories, and shared libraries.
- General Support & Task Execution: Completing assigned tasks from the BPI Supervisor on time and with high quality. Helping coordinate project activities, follow-ups, and cross-functional meetings. Providing administrative and technical support across improvement initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- Experience: 1–3+ years in business operations, process support, data analysis, or a related role.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, data transformation, etc.). Familiarity with automation or workflow tools (Power Automate, system configuration, or similar) preferred. Experience with CargoWise is strongly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with data, identify patterns, validate accuracy, and summarize findings.
- Process Skills: Exposure to process mapping or Lean methodologies is a plus.
- Communication: Strong documentation and communication skills; able to produce clear, concise materials.
- Work Style: Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Compensation And Benefits
UPS offers a competitive compensation package that reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $44,616/year to $82,576/year, dependent on factors like market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and work experience. Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs.
