Overview

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven background in multifamily construction. This role involves leading all phases of large-scale, ground-up multifamily and mixed-use developments, from preconstruction planning to project delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full project life cycle for multifamily and mixed-use developments including design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and field execution.
  • Manage multiple complex projects ensuring deadlines, budgets, and safety goals are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project teams and foster accountability, collaboration, and effective communication.
  • Conduct detailed budget reviews, manage cost control, and forecast project impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and local building codes.
  • Collaborate with Preconstruction and Estimating teams to develop accurate bids and project strategies.
  • Review documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Lead coordination meetings to maintain stakeholder alignment.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of construction experience; 5+ years in large-scale multifamily projects ($20M+).
  • Expertise in multifamily systems such as MEP coordination, podium waterproofing, structural concrete, and vertical framing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software like Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong financial acumen for managing detailed budgets and cost reports.
  • Ability to travel periodically to various job sites.
