Overview
Our UPMC Insurance Services Division has an exciting opportunity available as a Senior Human Resources Consultant. In this role, the Senior Human Resources Consultant will independently provide strategic HR support to leaders within the Insurance Services Division.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior business partner and change agent on HR issues.
- Manage and deliver HR programs and services across the organization.
- Implement HR initiatives and collaborate on organizational change interventions.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to HR staff.
- Drive change management and foster a diversity & inclusion strategy.
- Collaborate with business and HR leaders on education and development opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field and at least three years of employee relations experience required OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of employee relations experience required. Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification are required within the first year of hire for external candidates.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances
HCI Strategic HR Business Partner (SHRBP) OR Professional, Human Resources (PHR) OR Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) OR Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) OR Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
