About the Role
UPMC GLPP Women's Health is hiring a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a 100% OBGYN outpatient clinic role designed for advanced practice providers.
Work Schedule & Locations
Work hours include 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday during daylight hours. Clinic sites are located at:
- GLPP Fredonia 12 Center, Suite 1, Fredonia, NY 14063
- GLPP Dunkirk, 504 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY 14048
- GLPP Women's Health, 17 Sherman St., Suite 2100, Jamestown, NY 14701
Responsibilities
The role involves setting high standards of care, providing patient care using independent judgment, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams. Responsibilities include:
- Providing patient care in an outpatient setting.
- Developing care plans based on patient needs.
- Maintaining collaborative relationships with the care team.
- Engaging in continuous professional development.
- Assisting in quality improvement and education.
Qualifications
Applicants must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant meeting certification and licensure requirements. For NP applicants: BSN or MSN preferred, current RN license, CRNP certification, and required state certifications. For PA applicants: graduation from an accredited PA program and current state PA license are required. Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred for senior level roles.
